How can we help?
The Coach Kalix Foundation provides financial assistance through grants and other means to families facing financial difficulties in order children to play minor sports through recognized organizations.
Through partnerships, CKF can help your child be outfitted with required equipment.
Who is eligible to apply to the Coach Kalix Foundation?
Families who are facing financial difficulties may apply. The CKF asks your first apply to other programs i.e. Kidsport prior to applying for the CKF grants.
Applicants must be under the age of 18 to be considered.
What does the Coach Kalix Foundation cover?
The Coach Kalix Foundation provides financial support for registration fees for all sports through recognized organizations.
Camps and specialized training may also be requested and will be considered as funds are available.
When to apply?
The sooner the better! When you register your child into a sport or apply for funding through another program, submit you application to the Coach Kalix Foundation.
How to apply?
1) Find a sport program your child would like to join and register.
2) Fill out the online application form. If you prefer a paper copy, please email info@coachkalixfoundation.ca
3) It's that easy! We will review the application and contact you should more information is required.
4) Funds will be transferred directly to the organization on your behalf.
How long does it take?
Applications will be reviewed within 14 days and we will contact you with the results.
